Hae-jin Yoo × Hae-il Park × Min-ho Lee’s ‘Assassins’ Unmask the Mystery—A Gripping Chase for the Shadow Behind the 1974 Gunshots

〈Assassins〉released its teaser trailer on July 20. Based on the assassination attempt on a first lady that took place in 1974, 〈Assassins〉follows the perspectives of three figures, and it previously announced that it would be released in September after revealing its invitation to the Toronto International Film Festival.

The 〈Assassins〉teaser trailer unveiled this time shows Hae-jin Yoo as detective Cheol-gu, who hunts the shadow hidden behind the frantic situation of that day and the missing bullet(s), Park Hae-il as reporter Jae-hwan, and Min-ho Lee as rookie reporter Young-il.

In particular, prior works by Hive Media Corp such as 〈The Man From Namsan〉and 〈Spring in Seoul〉were listed, further stoking anticipation for the film. Director Heo Jin-ho’s new work, 〈Assassins〉, is set to open in South Korea in September.
