A mascot is born inside Netflix’s latest global hit Netflix has released a series of details about the character ‘Ggeomoksal’ in the drama 〈Donggung〉 it recently unveiled. Among the announcements drawing the most attention is that ‘Ggeomoksal’ key rings in five styles and two Musinsa Standard collaboration T-shirt designs will be released through the upcoming August Musinsa Drop (MUSINSA DROP). ‘Ggeomoksal’ is a cute little mascot that follows around Choi Kwi-cheon, played by Nam Ju-hyuk, in 〈Donggung〉.
A special appeal that refreshes the mood in a horror thriller 〈Donggung〉 tells the story of Kwi-cheon and the palace lady Gang Saeng, played by No Yun-seo, as they confront a curse in which the royal bloodline of the Joseon Dynasty falls victim to mysterious deaths. Stories set in Joseon that draw on various legends often stir up fear and anxiety. Still, ‘Ggeomoksal’ refreshes the atmosphere with its cute looks and behavior—even though it is a goblin—and has won over viewers.
