Although BLACKPINK brought good news to celebrate their 10th anniversary, fans’ dissatisfaction is growing day by day.

The girl group BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) marks their 10th debut anniversary on Aug. 8. In response, the group announced a “Meet&Greet” event to meet fans on the occasion of their 10th debut anniversary, but the event drew backlash for its somewhat lackluster details: no time or venue specified, a small participation cap of 40 people, and uncertainty over which members will attend.

In particular, the phrase “Only members who have a schedule available will attend” put the members themselves in a difficult spot. Right after the announcement, Rosé, who was spotted in the United States, had to clarify her position through the company, saying, “I am prioritizing this schedule.” Lisa, whose non-attendance report had also been spreading in the morning of the 7th, also had to announce her attendance confirmation again through YG Entertainment.

Even so, with a big milestone like their 10th anniversary set against a small headcount and unreasonable participation conditions, fans’ complaints continue.
