Legendary Anime Returns… “Inuyasha: Feelings That Surpass Time” Opens Exclusively at CGV on September 9 After 25 Years

The animated theatrical feature 〈Inuyasha: Feelings That Surpass Time〉 has announced an exclusive release at CGV on September 9. 〈Inuyasha: Feelings That Surpass Time〉 is the first theatrical installment of the anime 〈Inuyasha〉 series based on the manga of the same title by Rumiko Takahashi, and it was released locally in Japan in 2001. In Korea, it will get an official release after 25 years, ready to meet fans.

〈Inuyasha〉 follows the crisis that unfolds when Kagome, a girl who moves across eras, and the half-demon Inuyasha come face to face with the leader of the continent-spanning yokai army awakened from a seal, Menomaru. An attack by Menomaru targeting Inuyasha’s weapon, the Tetsusaiga, rather than the sacred jewel of the Shikon, brings the two into severe hardship, but the story is driven by their determination to protect each other even amid the fight.

In a teaser poster unveiled alongside the confirmed September 9 release, Inuyasha is shown drawing the Tetsusaiga while Kagome pulls the bowstring tight, hinting at the crisis in the film and heightening tension. Menomaru’s face reflected on the Tetsusaiga makes viewers look forward to the peril the two will face—and their chance to overcome it.
