Antenna, his agency, disclosed Lee Sang-soon's health condition and upcoming schedule through its official channel on the 6th. The agency said, "After seeking medical attention because of a sudden decline in his condition, he was advised by doctors that rest was essential," adding, "As a result, he will temporarily step down from his current radio-hosting duties."

Lee Sang-soon had been connecting with listeners as the main host of MBC FM4U's daily afternoon program 'A Perfect Day, This Is Lee Sang-soon'. But he has been absent from live broadcasts since the 27th of last month and is currently off the air after his prerecorded broadcast on the 29th. A substitute host is currently filling in on the program.

The 'vagus nerve' that has sidelined him is a key neural pathway and the 10th of the body's 12 pairs of cranial nerves.
