'Heart, Like Ice, Firmly', written by Park Chang-hak, is a newly arranged version of the same-titled song released in 2011 by saxophonist and composer Son Sung-je. The original song was sung by Jo Won-sun of Roller Coaster, gaining attention at the time.

Lee Hyori expressed the song's emotions deeply with a restrained and mature vocal performance. It is known that she focused on delicately conveying the meaning of the lyrics rather than simply showcasing flashy techniques.

Team Cabeto stated, "Lee Hyori expressed her willingness to participate in this single first, which initiated the work," adding, "She was deeply involved in the song selection and interpretation process, contributing to the project's purpose."
