
Set nine years later, the noir drama 〈Made in Korea Season 2〉, which follows Baek Gi-tae’s perilous journey as he barrels toward even greater ambitions, will release Episodes 1-2 today. The series has unveiled Baek Gi-tae and Baek Gi-hyeon facing each other in an interrogation room, foreshadowing an uncontrollable brothers’ war.


The newly released stills immediately draw attention by capturing Baek Gi-tae and Baek Gi-hyeon facing off in an interrogation room. Baek Gi-hyeon appears more imposing in his role as a lieutenant colonel in the Security Command, while Baek Gi-tae maintains his brazen confidence and composure even as he undergoes questioning. Their contrasting postures deepen the mystery surrounding what drove the brothers into such a tense confrontation. Nine years later, Baek Gi-tae has reached the pinnacle of power, while Baek Gi-hyeon has pursued a summit of his own. After an unexpected incident pits them against each other, their lives become even more deeply entangled, raising anticipation over how far their conflict will escalate.

Hyun Bin offered insight into Baek Gi-tae, saying, “He is a character who moves with several different plans in mind. He keeps responding in different ways as he tries to follow the path he wants, but discord gradually begins to emerge.” Attention is focused on what choices Baek Gi-tae, who throws down a new gamble at every turn in pursuit of his growing ambitions, and Baek Gi-hyeon, who watches his older brother, will ultimately make. Episodes 1-2 of the Disney+ original series 〈Made in Korea Season 2〉 will be released exclusively on Disney+ this afternoon. Two episodes will follow on Sept. 16 (Wednesday), and two more on Sept. 23 (Wednesday), for a total of six episodes.
