Hyun Bin’s Dangerous Double Life Unmasked in Full… Disney+ Unveils a Special Prequel Webtoon for “Made in Korea Season 2”

〈Made in Korea Season 2〉 reveals a webtoon that will tell the story of Baek Ki-tae that couldn’t make it into the drama.

Disney+ original series 〈Made in Korea Season 2〉 released the “Made in Korea Season 2 Special Prequel Webtoon” on July 31. Uploaded to KakaoPage, the webtoon covers the period between Season 1 and Season 2 of the series 〈Made in Korea〉, following the actions of Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin). This prequel webtoon features the original webtoon 「I’m a Criminal」, with author Imugi credited for the webtoon, blending the drama’s noir sensibilities.

The special prequel webtoon being released this time offers a glimpse into not only Baek Ki-tae’s (Hyun Bin) journey as he moves toward the center of power after sustaining a dangerous double life for 9 years between Season 1 and Season 2, but also how the more tightly intertwined relationship between Baek Ki-tae and Cheon Seok-joong (Jung Sung-il) was created through what kind of turning point.

By unveiling the special prequel webtoon and raising even more questions about Season 2, 〈Made in Korea Season 2〉 is set to be released exclusively through Disney+ in September 2026.
