Wavve’s ‘My Sibling’s Romance 2’ launches in November, bringing a new twist to the year’s top variety hit

A romance shaped by siblings’ perspectives aims to extend the show’s hit streak

OTT platform Wavve has unveiled a show aimed at shaking up the second-half variety market. ‘My Sibling’s Romance 2,’ the original variety series regarded as the biggest hit of the first half of 2024, will premiere in November.

‘My Sibling’s Romance’ breaks from the formula of conventional dating shows. Its novel premise, which brings siblings together under one roof as they search for romantic partners, gave viewers a fresh sense of catharsis. In fact, Season 1 built a powerful fan base after recording the most viewing hours among Wavve original variety shows during its run.

The original cast members will once again serve as observers of the unfolding romances. The five-member panel is reuniting, including model Han Hye-jin, known for her sharp insights; composer Code Kunst, recognized for his keen empathy; Miyeon of (G)I-DLE; and sibling broadcasters Jonathan and Patricia, who bring their trademark wit. With an even deeper rapport, they will closely track the emotional maelstrom created by a new group of siblings.
