Netflix Confirms July 7 Premiere of 'Better Late Than Single' Season 2, Unveils Poster and Trailer

Netflix on the 23rd confirmed the show's premiere for Tuesday, July 7, and released the main poster and trailer for 〈Better Late Than Single〉 Season 2.

〈Better Late Than Single〉 is a makeover dating reality show that follows participants with no dating experience as they challenge themselves to pursue their first romantic relationships. This second season is made up of 10 episodes and will be released in installments over four weeks.

The newly released main trailer shows Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji and Car, the Garden returning as the contestants' dating mentors — billed as 'Some Makers' — following Season 1. Their exasperated reactions and constant advice to the awkward, unpredictable contestants give the trailer much of its humor. In particular, Kang Han-na departs from her usual calm demeanor and appears on the verge of shouting, hinting at a more dynamic Season 2.

The producers said one key difference this season is a more assertive cast. Producer Kim No-eun said, "If last season highlighted the male contestants' characters, this season's female participants are just as striking, so expect them to be unapologetically bold." Co-director Won Seung-jae added, "If Season 1 was closer to an 'educational program' cheering on the contestants' growth, Season 2 will take on the character of a full-fledged dating program."

〈Better Late Than Single 2〉 will be released exclusively on Netflix worldwide on Tuesday, July 7.
