Netflix will release the groundbreaking dating reality show 〈Badly in Love〉 on December 9.

According to Netflix Japan, 〈Badly in Love〉 is a dating reality show featuring former Yakuza, former street gang members, street fighters, club managers, and others who have lived on the fringes of society.

In 〈Badly in Love〉, individuals from various backgrounds enroll in a school to learn about love. Here, strict measures are taken, including immediate expulsion for breaking rules, and participants give their all to win love. Over a total of 14 days, 11 men and women will stay in one space, living together, sometimes clashing and experiencing conflicts, but also strengthening their bonds as they search for true love.

Notably, actress Megumi, who revealed she was once a real delinquent youth, is in charge of production and hosting, which is expected to add a high level of realism to the program. Additionally, the banter among the three MCs, including rapper AK-69 and comedian Nagano, is also highlighted as one of the viewing points.

〈Badly in Love〉 is set to premiere on Netflix on December 9.
