Bruno Mars adds sixth Korea show amid ticket frenzy

Global pop icon returns with record-breaking response from Korean fans

Global pop star 'Bruno Mars' will add one more show to his Korea concert run at 'Goyang Stadium' next May, bringing the total to a milestone 'six shows'. Concert promoter Live Nation Korea officially announced Tuesday that it had added a final May 30 performance to meet overwhelming demand.

The shows mark Mars' return to South Korea two years after his successful 2023 concerts. The original schedule called for four performances on May 21-22 and 25-26 next year, but a surge in traffic during the presale on the 11th triggered a 'ticketing frenzy.' The promoter responded by hastily scheduling a May 29 show and then added the May 30 date just three days later, once again demonstrating his 'overwhelming ticket power.'

"Even tickets for the additional show sold out at lightning speed as soon as general sales opened," a Live Nation Korea representative said. "To respond to fans' enthusiastic support and share the experience with more concertgoers, we substantially expanded the run to a total of six shows."

Known for his singular musicianship and explosive live performances, 'Bruno Mars' is unquestionably one of the 21st century's greatest singer-songwriters. In particular, he sparked a global pop culture phenomenon in 2024 with 'APT.', a megahit he recorded with 'Rosé', a member of Blackpink, sweeping music charts around the world. Expectations for his return to South Korea are now higher than ever.
