'Street World Fighter: Directors' War' Nationwide Tour Featuring 10 Directors Opens Nov. 21 in Seoul

Powerful performances crafted by 10 directors

Mnet's survival program 'Street World Fighter: Directors' War' — known as 'SDW' — which has taken over South Korea's dance scene, is bringing its explosive energy to live audiences. Mnet announced on the 29th that it will hold a 'nationwide concert tour' featuring the program's leading performers.

The tour opens Nov. 21 and 22 at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. It will then travel to five major cities nationwide — Gwangju on Nov. 28, Busan on Dec. 5, Daejeon on Dec. 13 and Daegu on Dec. 19 — for a total of '10 performances' with audiences.

The stage will feature 10 top choreographers who competed fiercely on 'SDW'. Nine, Renan, Bada, Baek Koo-young, Babyzoo, Simeez, Ingyu, Jeong Min-jun, Kasper and Hash will bring their distinct styles together to recreate the show's impact in front of live audiences.

What sets 'SDW' apart is that it goes beyond a conventional dance competition: It is a 'directing survival' format in which choreographers put their names on the line and design everything from stage planning to overall direction. The nationwide tour is also expected to deliver highly polished performances built around each choreographer's distinctive creative vision.
