The epic saga of unifying the Three Kingdoms brings 600 years of war to an end

The series takes an in-depth look at the fierce wars among the Three Kingdoms on the Korean Peninsula, which continued for 600 years, and the process by which Silla's King Munmu unified them. Rather than simply listing historical facts, it is expected to portray in vivid detail the anguish and strategies of the heroes who navigated an age of turmoil.

The cast anchoring the drama is equally imposing. Lee Hyun-wook, an actor who has proven his solid acting skills, plays Kim Beop-min, Silla's unifying monarch, King Munmu, bringing a new brand of charisma to the role. Opposite him, Jang Hyuk, renowned for his commanding performances, has been cast as Yeon Gaesomun, Goguryeo's iron-fisted chancellor, injecting the story with taut tension.

Kim Kang-woo plays King Muyeol, also known as Kim Chunchu, who laid the foundation for the unification of the Three Kingdoms, while Park Sung-woong takes on the role of Kim Yu-shin, Silla's greatest general, adding further weight to the drama. Expectations are soaring over what landmark scenes the explosive chemistry among these trusted performers will produce.
