IROHA, a member of girl group ILLIT, injured her ankle during concert rehearsal but went on to complete the performance safely.
BELIFT LAB, ILLIT’s agency, announced on Weverse, a fan community platform, on the 18th that IROHA sprained her ankle during rehearsal for that day’s encore show and received medical care. The agency said, "The artist is determined to participate in all scheduled performances, but protecting the artist is our top priority, and we plan to adjust IROHA’s participation in the show as needed," adding, "If symptoms arise during the performance, her participation onstage may be limited in part."
Fortunately, IROHA’s condition was not serious. She took the stage at ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START♥' ENCORE in KOREA, held on the 17th and 18th at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon, and performed most of the songs without missing a beat, drawing enthusiastic support from fans. In particular, ILLIT raised the energy in the venue to a peak by performing in full for the first time “I’ll Arrest You,” the title track from its fifth mini album BREAK EVEN, due out on the 26th.
Below is BELIFT LAB’s full statement on IROHA’s injury.
