Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s First Feature Film, ‘The Cat in the Hat,’ Opens in Theaters November 6

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation released 10 press stills on the 20th, offering a glimpse of the outlandish adventure in its first feature film, 〈The Cat in the Hat〉 (The Cat in the Hat), ahead of its theatrical release on November 6.

〈The Cat in the Hat〉 is a fantasy adventure that begins when the Cat in the Hat, a mischievous agent of the secret organization I.I.I.I., which studies imagination and inspiration, visits siblings Gabby and Sebastian, who have moved to an unfamiliar neighborhood and are struggling to adjust. The film follows their chaotic journey into a mysterious, unknown world as they try to recover a magical spinning top that fell into a moving box after the Cat turned the house upside down.

The newly released stills show the Cat in the Hat making a jaunty entrance before the siblings aboard a red sofa-shaped transport, along with adorable glimpses of Waffles, a goldfish who gains the ability to speak through magic, and the mysterious blue-haired assistants known as the Things, who pop out of a box. The Things, who communicate in a distinctive language, are set to be scene-stealers throughout the film. Stunning visuals—including a hot-air balloon crossing a sunset sky—also whet viewers’ appetites for the film.

Based on a beloved story by the internationally bestselling author Dr. Seuss, the film brings together the creative team behind 〈Kung Fu Panda〉 and 〈How to Train Your Dragon〉. Alessandro Carloni and Erica Rivinoja directed the film, bringing it to life. Actor Cho Jung-seok voices the Cat in the Hat in the Korean dub, while Hollywood stars Bill Hader, Quinta Brunson, America Ferrera, Matt Berry, Xochitl Gomez and Bowen Yang are among the cast of the English-language dub.

Packed with lovable characters and playful imagination, the animated film 〈The Cat in the Hat〉 is set to open in theaters nationwide on November 6.
