I draw [Seong Chan Eol's Comic Book] from the perspective of a passionate fan, capturing what would be more enjoyable to experience together.
There are quite a few people who only focus on one field. Some only read comics, while others only watch animations. As someone who has lived as a casual fan with a broad but shallow interest, I often forget this fact.

I draw [Seong Chan-eol's Comic Book] from the perspective of a casual otaku, capturing things that would be more fun to watch together.
Since this is the first article opening this series, I thought a lot about it. Still, it's a bit embarrassing to reveal my taste on the first day, and it shouldn't be unhelpful to the reader, so I decided to write about either 「Spy Family」 or 「Skip and Loafer」.

Is there anyone who doesn’t know David’s stone. The story of David and Goliath that is told in 〈Robot Taekwon V〉(1976), and 〈General Tolly〉, and the 〈Ureomei〉 series, and countless other children’s animations and feature films—was also made by director Kim Cheong-gi, known for creating them all.

〈Marty Supreme〉 is a table tennis movie. For Korean film fans, the Sharpdy brothers are well known for 〈Heaven Knows What〉(2014), 〈Good Time〉(2017), and 〈Uncut Gems〉(2019), but 〈Marty Supreme〉 is a feature film that older brother Josh Safdie directed on his own for the first time in nearly 10 years.

I write Seong Chan-eol's Comics to share things that are more enjoyable together, seen from the perspective of an omnivorous fan.
To be frank, this is one of my current favorite comics, but it’s one I avoided writing about for a while. It’s wildly fun and genuinely heart-fluttering, but the barrier to entry is high. If even I, a fan of the series, felt that hesitation, I wasn’t sure how many readers would go along with it.

〈Toy Story 2〉 (1999)’s opening begins as if it were a scene from the 〈Star Wars〉 series. And in the moment of crisis, Woody recites the lines “Think about it, think about it,” like the way Dong-su (Kim Sang-kyung) does in 〈Theater Jeon〉 (2005) or Yeon-hong (Son Ye-jin) does in 〈No Secrets〉 (2016).
