Even amid the spectacular visuals, the film's center of gravity is its outstanding ensemble acting. Seok-hwan's arc—from an immature young man absorbed in video games even on the day of his interview to a fighter willing to risk his life to protect someone precious—gains credibility through Koo Kyo-hwan's signature blend of easygoing humor and deep pathos. The film is directed by 'Baek Jong-yul,' who earned praise for the stylish mise-en-scene of 'The Beauty Inside' (2015) and directed the intense action thriller 'Believer 2' (2023). At a press conference held at Lotte Cinema World Tower on the 16th, Baek said, "The central premise of the protagonist's resurrection is exactly as stated in the title. The key challenge was the intense thought we put into how to visualize the process and momentum of that resurrection," adding, "We focused on dissecting the cliches of the existing action genre and establishing an original action signature unique to Seok-hwan."

The cast also made no secret of their strong hopes for the film's vast universe and its potential to become a series. Just as the subtitle 'The Red' refers to Seok-hwan's unique code name, the film introduces ability users with varied code names such as Black and Blue, signaling an expansion of the universe. Koo Kyo-hwan said, "It's an appealing story that can branch out endlessly.
