Noh Jae-won's impression changes completely with each work. When he plays an endlessly kind character, he appears pure, and when he portrays a deranged villain, he shows a chilling side. He mentioned, "People say my eyes can look both kind and evil," and shared, "After the release of <Squid Game> season 3, there was a colleague who said, 'I'm envious because there's evil inside you.'"
In particular, he revealed that he received recognition from his father through <Squid Game> seasons 2 and 3. Noh Jae-won said, "My father hasn't really acknowledged me or said many good things until now," and added, "After watching season 3, he said, 'Director Hwang Dong-hyuk is Steven Spielberg. Your acting was outstanding,' which was more amazing and good than anyone else's recognition."
Noh Jae-won's character in season 3, praised by his father, is Nam-kyu, a participant from a club MD background. He recalled, "At first, I didn't expect much after auditioning for <Squid Game> because it was such a big project," and said, "When I found out I got the role, I thought, 'Which person among the 456 will I be?' and 'Will I die first?'"

Regarding the character Nam-kyu, he described him as "a person full of grievances," interpreting that he is jealous and envious of rapper Thanos (played by Choi Seung-hyun) and later has a desire to be superior.
Nam-kyu appears in many scenes with Thanos in season 2 of <Squid Game> and with Myung-ki (played by Lim Si-wan) in season 3. Noh Jae-won evaluated, "Choi Seung-hyun is someone who acts with his life on the line," and added, "I felt his affection for the Thanos role, which inspired me a lot." Interestingly, as they spent so much time together, he ended up mimicking Thanos's speech, which caught the attention of director Hwang Dong-hyuk and was actually reflected in the scenes of season 3.
The genre Noh Jae-won wants to challenge next is romance. He showed an open attitude, saying that it doesn't matter if the partner is a man. He expressed, "I want to portray a romance that only I can express," and stated, "Since the forms of love are all different, it doesn't matter if the partner is a man or a woman."
