Kang Ji-young and Lee Gi-kwang Star in 'I Kill You' Premiering on July 23

〈MALJUKGURI CRUEL HISTORY〉 〈VILE STREET〉 〈DOUBLE FLOWER SHOP〉 〈GANGNAM 1970〉 is the latest work by director Yoo Ha, who directed these films.

Idol Kang Ji-young and Lee Gi-kwang star in 〈I KILL YOU〉 which premieres on July 23. Directed by Yoo Ha, who has directed 〈MALJUKGURI CRUEL HISTORY〉 〈VILE STREET〉 〈DOUBLE FLOWER SHOP〉 〈GANGNAM 1970〉, 〈I KILL YOU〉 is an action film about Sunwoo (Kang Ji-young), a former taekwondo prospect who struggles to make a living through part-time jobs and gets caught up in a huge conspiracy to pay for her mother's hospital bills.

Kang Ji-young plays both the character ‘Sunwoo’, who comes from a poor background, and ‘Jiyeon’, the granddaughter of a chaebol. The film captures the strong side of ‘Sunwoo’ as she gets involved in a huge conspiracy, showcasing her transformation from a taekwondo prospect. Lee Gi-kwang appears as ‘Hojung’, the half-brother of ‘Jiyeon’. Member of the group ‘Highlight’, Lee Gi-kwang makes his screen debut portraying the privileged ‘Hojung’, who has a model student appearance but a wild inner self, promising to show a powerful side never seen before. 〈I KILL YOU〉 was first revealed at the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and gained attention by winning the ‘Méliès International Film Festival Alliance (MIFF) Asia Film Award’.
