The animation 〈Movie Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle〉 is sweeping the box office in Japan and is set to land in domestic theaters next month.

The importing company Animax Broadcasting Korea announced on the 23rd that 〈Infinity Castle〉 will be released domestically on August 22. Notably, this film will also be available for viewing in IMAX, drawing significant interest from fans.

〈Infinity Castle〉 depicts the final battle that begins with the appearance of the arch-nemesis Kibutsuji Muzan at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. Muzan lures the members of the Demon Slayer Corps into the 'Infinity Castle', marking the start of a fateful confrontation. A key point of interest is the rematch between the protagonist Tanjiro and 'Upper Moon 3', who took the life of Rengoku in the previous film 〈Mugen Train〉.

Released in Japan on the 18th, 〈Infinity Castle〉 achieved remarkable box office results within just four days of its release. The cumulative audience number in Japan reached 5.16 million, with box office revenue surpassing 7.3 billion yen (approximately 688 million won).

Looking at the first weekend after its release, the audience count reached 3.84 million. This figure surpasses the first weekend audience count of 3.42 million for the previous film 〈Mugen Train〉, which ranked first in Japan's box office history in 2020 (4.04 billion yen).
