NewJeans→IU Appointed as Ambassador for Incheon International Airport Customs

IU has been appointed as the ambassador for Incheon International Airport Customs.

As a singer and actress, IU attended the appointment ceremony for the ambassador of Incheon International Airport Customs held on July 25 at Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport in Jung-gu, Incheon. The ambassador position, which was held by the group NewJeans since March 2023, has now been transferred to IU starting from today’s ceremony.

Incheon International Airport Customs stated that IU was selected as an ambassador based on her global recognition and her various charitable activities that exert a positive influence. IU, who attended the ceremony, expressed her commitment by saying, "I will do my best in the customs promotional activities," showing her dedication to her ambassador duties.

Recently, IU reaffirmed her global recognition with her outstanding performance in the Netflix original 〈My Name is Not a Flower〉. She continues her journey as an entertainer by releasing the remake album 'Flower Bookmark 3' on May 27.
