〈Secret That Cannot Be Told〉 is well-known in Korea, and Taiwanese actress Lun-Mei Gwei is visiting Korea.
This summer, Lun-Mei Gwei is coming to Korea for the re-release of her debut film 〈Blue Gate Crossing〉 (2002) after 12 years. 〈Blue Gate Crossing〉 was first released in Korea in 2021 due to enthusiastic requests from the audience, and it will be re-released domestically on July 30. It is very rare for an actress to visit Korea for the re-release of a film that came out 23 years ago.
Lun-Mei Gwei stated, "〈Blue Gate Crossing〉 opened doors I never imagined, and it changed my life. During the process of participating in the film, I developed a desire and curiosity to deeply explore film and acting, gained a more diverse and tolerant perspective on human nature, and became someone who can face my emotions honestly. To the audience inspired by this film, thank you for sharing your stories. It has been the most precious gift and great encouragement I have received. We share a common language through film. I hope to share stories about 〈Blue Gate Crossing〉 with Korean audiences and share my experiences and feelings during this opportunity."
Lun-Mei Gwei will participate in stage greetings and audience talks (GV) on August 8 (Fri) and 9 (Sat), having a special time with Korean audiences.
