Im Soo-jung Makes Producer Debut with 'The Second Child'.. "I Also Did the Pitching for the Korean Film Council"

Im Soo-jung is challenging herself in a new field.

On the 29th, the YouTube channel TEO released the 101st episode of the web entertainment show 'Salon Drip 2', featuring actress Im Soo-jung as a guest. During her appearance, Im Soo-jung shared behind-the-scenes stories from her current Disney+ series 〈Low Life〉 to her past work 〈I'm Sorry, I Love You〉.

Meanwhile, Im Soo-jung expressed her interest in film production and announced her producer debut. She mentioned, "While there is artistic value, it is difficult to create original films. I wanted to contribute to bringing such films into the world," referring to the fantasy horror film 〈The Second Child〉 in which she participated as both an actress and producer.

〈The Second Child〉 is a project that received support from the Korean Film Council after overcoming high competition, and Im Soo-jung recalled, "I also participated in the pitching as a producer. The judges were surprised. I was eager to make it well and 'bowed down' to them. It was a special experience."

The release date for the film 〈The Second Child〉 is yet to be determined.
