IU to Hold 'Bye, Summer' Fan Meeting at KSPO Dome

Singer and actress IU will hold an official fan event for the first time in two years.

Idam Entertainment announced on the 8th that IU will hold a fan meet-up (fan meeting) 'Bye, Summer' from the 13th to the 14th of next month at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul. The agency revealed the news of the event along with the official poster through IU's official social media channels.

This fan meet-up is gaining attention as it is the first offline official fan event in two years since the fan concert in September 2023.

Idam Entertainment stated, "The title of the performance is the name of an unreleased song that was first revealed at the concert held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium last year, and it carries the meaning of 'a cool greeting to summer.'" They further explained, "At this moment when summer quietly fades away, we hope to create a space to gather the stories and laughter shared over the season and bid a final farewell."

This event will be conducted in a format that is differentiated from existing fan meetings or fan concerts. The agency mentioned that they will use the term 'FAN MEET-UP' to emphasize interaction with fans, moving away from a stage-centered performance format.
