The running drama starring Ha Seok-jin, Lee Shin-young, and Yoon Seo-bin, 〈Power Sprint〉, will be released on September 10. Along with the release, the launch image ready to make hearts race has been revealed. The movie 〈Power Sprint〉 depicts the perfect ending of a man running in the present, a man running in the future, and their sprint through time. To reduce a single step by just 0.2 seconds, the top short-distance record holder of South Korea stands at the starting line at the end of his prime, while a rookie high school challenger who loves running forgets records and college, stands at the starting line of his life, each preparing their heart-pounding challenges and surprising endings to greet the audience at the finish line.
〈Power Sprint〉 is highly anticipated as it marks the return of actor Ha Seok-jin to the screen after 9 years. Challenging his first athlete role since his debut, he is set to transform once again as a symbol of thorough self-management, alongside a solid filmography and the brainy image he built through variety shows. Lee Shin-young from the movie 〈Rebound〉 and Da-hyun from 〈The Girl We Liked Back Then〉, along with Yoon Seo-bin, who is taking on her first feature film, transform into 'Nine Seconds' track athletes with pure passion for what they love, shining the fighting spirit for everyone who continues to challenge themselves.
The revealed launch image of 〈Power Sprint〉 carries the message of passion challenging life's direction and personal limits with the phrase, "What matters is my new record, the ending is fun," promising a touching experience. In fact, the movie is inspired by the real Korean men's 100M record that has not been broken since 2017, adding cinematic imagination to reality. It encompasses a rich charm that includes various elements such as the courage to face one's true abilities and the struggle, rather than simply following the existing sports youth genre.
The movie 〈Power Sprint〉 is set to heat up the hearts of South Korean audiences and will be released at Lotte Cinema in Korea on September 10.
