
Actor Lee Kwang-soo has confirmed the release of the movie 〈Love Barista〉 in Vietnam on October 3.
〈Love Barista〉 is a survival romantic comedy film featuring 'Kang Jun-woo' (Lee Kwang-soo), an Asian prince left alone in Vietnam without a manager, passport, or a penny. The film is directed by Kim Sung-hoon, who also directed 〈Confidential Assignment〉 (2017) and 〈Rampant〉 (2018). In addition to Lee Kwang-soo, the film stars Um Moon-seok, who was a major draw in Vietnam with 2.26 million viewers for the release of 〈Yuksa-o (6/45)〉, playing the role of 'Jung Han-cheol', the manager of the top star 'Kang Jun-woo' and a long-time friend since his unknown days.
In 〈Love Barista〉, 'Kang Jun-woo' (Lee Kwang-soo) visits Vietnam for a commercial shoot but unexpectedly finds himself alone in Vietnam with no one he knows due to unforeseen events. During this process, he accidentally meets 'Tao' (Huang Ha), who dreams of being a barista, and begins an unpredictable romance in a foreign land.
The movie 〈Love Barista〉, confirmed to premiere in Vietnam on October 3, is scheduled for release in South Korea in the second half of 2025.
