Stray Kids showcased their K-pop star qualities by setting a historic record.

According to a chart preview article published by Billboard on August 31 (local time), Stray Kids' 4th studio album 'KARMA' debuted at No. 1 on the 'Billboard 200'. With this, Stray Kids has achieved a remarkable record of seven consecutive albums reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200, starting with 'ODDINARY' in 2022, followed by 'MAXIDENT', '★★★★★', '樂-STAR', 'ATE', '合 (HOP)', and now 'KARMA'.

This is said to be the first-ever record in the history of the 'Billboard 200', which has been tracked since 1956, not limited to Korean artists. The previous record was held by BTS, Linkin Park, and Dave Matthews Band, who each had six albums reach No. 1.

Stray Kids is ramping up their activities with the release of 'KARMA' on August 22, and they are currently nominated for 'Best Group' and 'Best K-Pop' at the American music awards 'MTV Music Awards'.
