According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings research company, the second episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama ‘Mantis: The Murderer's Outing’, aired on September 6, recorded a viewership rating of 7.3% based on the metropolitan area, marking an increase from the previous episode. The momentary peak rating surpassed 10%, breaking into double digits, and the 2049 viewership rating, a key indicator of channel competitiveness, also surged vertically to 2.5% - peaking at 3.29%. There is a reaction that the magic of Go Hyun-jung, which is trusted and watched, has worked effectively.

In this broadcast, a full-scale joint investigation began to catch the copycat murderer of the serial killer mother Jung Yi-shin (Go Hyun-jung) and her detective son Cha Soo-yeol (Jang Dong-yoon).
