'Look Back' by Fujimoto Tatsuki Short Story Collection to be Animated

〈Look Back〉's original author Fujimoto Tatsuki returns with previously published short stories animated.

「Chainsaw Man」, 「Look Back」 known for its unique sensibility and intense imagery, Fujimoto Tatsuki's early short stories are coming back as animation. The short stories he published in the past were compiled into the short story collections 「17-21」 and 「22-26」. Each collection features short stories published by Fujimoto Tatsuki during the ages of 17-21 and 22-26 respectively.

Prime Video announced the work 〈Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26〉 while releasing a trailer, which includes all eight stories from the short story collection. Among these eight stories is 「The Prophecy of Nayuta」, which inspired 「Chainsaw Man」, and 「Sister's Older Sister」, the predecessor of 「Look Back」, allowing readers of the existing long works to further savor Fujimoto Tatsuki's world.

This work will be exclusively released by Prime Video, which distributes the animation 〈Look Back〉 worldwide. It is scheduled to be released on November 8.
