〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 is making headlines as it stands on the brink of an unprecedented record.

The Netflix original 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 depicts the story of demon hunters who exorcise evil spirits and the K-Pop idol group HUNTR/X facing threats from grim reapers. Blending traditional Korean culture with modern K-Pop culture, 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 unfolds a sensuous and witty narrative, receiving consistent love since its release on June 20 and continuing to create a phenomenon.

In particular, on September 4, it broke the all-time highest viewership among Netflix content and is generating even more buzz as it approaches a new record. After surpassing the previous cumulative viewership record held by 〈Squid Game〉 Season 1 (265.2 million views), it recorded 266 million views, and as of September 9, it has reached 291.5 million views. Thus, it is on the verge of becoming the first to surpass 300 million views, but according to Netflix's system that compares cumulative view counts over 91 days post-release, it needs to accumulate about 8.5 million views within a week.

On the other hand, the popularity of the original soundtrack is also strong; according to the latest Billboard chart on the 9th, 'Golden', 'Your Idol', 'Soda Pop', and 'How It's Done' all entered the top 10 of the Hot 100, marking the first instance of an OST having four songs simultaneously in the top 10.
