Seo Subin, a rising star who plays the role of 'Juin' in director Yoon Ga-eun's new film 〈The Master of the World〉, which received explosive reactions at the Toronto International Film Festival, is gaining attention for her remarkable acting skills. The film 〈The Master of the World〉, which is set to be released in Korea this October, features Seo Subin in the lead role of 'Juin' and is generating buzz. The film depicts the story of 18-year-old high school student 'Juin', whose impulsive words begin to shake everyone's world, and it was invited to the competitive Platform section of the 50th Toronto International Film Festival as the first and only Korean film, receiving a warm response. In particular, there has been a stream of praise for director Yoon Ga-eun's more mature and deeper directorial world, and reviews from audiences about the lingering impact after watching the film have poured in.

Among them, the one attracting the most attention is the rising star Seo Subin, who plays 'Juin' in 〈The Master of the World〉. Director Yoon Ga-eun, known for her keen eye in discovering talent, has previously unearthed actors like Jung Yeon-joo in the short film 〈Guest〉, Kim Soo-an in 〈Bean Sprout〉, and Choi Soo-in in her feature debut 〈Our Body〉, as well as notable performances in 〈The Glory〉, 〈I Can Speak〉, and 〈Minimum Line〉. Seo Subin, who was cast as 'Juin', is also a newcomer with very little acting experience, having gone through the unique audition and workshop process of the famously distinctive director Yoon Ga-eun.

Director Yoon Ga-eun stated, "Seo Subin was a rookie actress with almost no acting experience. In the long process of searching for 'Juin', we held several meetings and improvisational acting workshops, and the more I saw her, the more I thought, 'Ah, this friend is 'Juin', I am actually meeting 'Juin' in person.' There was a charm that made me feel that way. Watching her respond to the pace and rhythm of the other actors in the improvisational theater, I thought that even though she had no experience, she was already an exceptionally talented actress, so I cast her without any doubt," expressing her trust and affection for Seo Subin. The film 〈The Master of the World〉, which showcases the remarkable acting skills and shining charm of the newly discovered Seo Subin by director Yoon Ga-eun, will be available in theaters in Korea this October.
