'Can't Help It' Wins International Audience Award at 50th Toronto International Film Festival!

Invited to the competition section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and the opening film of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, 〈Can't Help It〉 won the International Audience Award at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival. 〈Can't Help It〉 tells the story of 'Mansu' (Lee Byung-hun), an office worker who felt that he had achieved everything in life, suddenly getting fired and preparing for his own war towards re-employment to protect his wife and two children and to keep the house he worked hard to acquire.

〈Can't Help It〉 won the International Audience Award at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, which concluded on September 14 (Sunday). This newly established award is given to the most popular film among international films, excluding Canada and the United States, based on audience votes. As it selects the audience's favorite film ahead of the Oscar voting, the voting takes place with great enthusiasm. Being the first recipient of the newly established 'International Audience Award', 〈Can't Help It〉 holds special significance. As an award that proves the audience's passionate response, it further solidifies the global presence of the desperate survival drama 〈Can't Help It〉, which stimulates universal empathy.
