The film 〈You and My 5 Minutes〉, set in 2001, a year filled with unfamiliarity and new experiences, depicts the story of two boys who shared their favorite music and secrets. It is the feature debut of director Um Ha-neul, who has showcased a unique perspective and lyrical sensibility through short films such as 〈Peter Pan's Dream〉, 〈Not Found〉, and 〈Embarrassing but〉. 〈You and My 5 Minutes〉 is inspired by the legendary J-POP group globe's mega hit song 'Departures', which represents Japan's winter and first love, and has already created buzz by sweeping various film festivals, including the Best Film Award at the Jecheon International Film Festival, the JAIHO Award at the Osaka Asian Film Festival, and the Ddaengrang Coin Award at the Jeongdongjin Independent Film Festival.
