The Pingyao International Film Festival, now in its 9th year, is a film festival founded by the Asian master director Jia Zhangke from China, focusing on discovering original and intense new filmmakers. 〈The World of Love〉 has been invited to the Crouching Tigers section, which is the international newcomer competition section for directors who have made three or fewer feature films, and has been nominated for three categories: Best Film, Best Director, and Jury Prize at the Roberto Rossellini Awards. In 2024, Neo Sora's 〈Happy End〉 won the Jury Prize, and in 2021, Jung Juri's 〈Next Sohee〉 won the Best Film award, making Yoon Ga-eun's 〈The World of Love〉 the second Korean film ever invited to the Crouching Tigers international newcomer competition section of the Pingyao International Film Festival.

Programmer Fukatsu Junko of the Crouching Tigers section stated, "Sometimes, kind words can hurt, and sometimes silence can be the greatest consideration. The eighteen-year-old 'master' in the film shows growth pains while possessing both fragility and resilience. Through 〈The World of Love〉, Director Yoon Ga-eun intricately portrays the intimate and delicate stories of youth while prompting the audience to reflect on what it means to 'live as the master of one's life' through a resolute gaze. I am very pleased to present her six-year comeback work through the Crouching Tigers section of the Pingyao International Film Festival." Attention is drawn to whether 〈The World of Love〉 will bring more award news following 〈Next Sohee〉.

Meanwhile, 〈The World of Love〉 is a work where we can meet the deeper and richer directorial world of Director Yoon Ga-eun, who has excelled in capturing delicate and subtle emotional textures through directing works like 〈Our Body〉 and 〈Our Home〉. It tells the story of an unpredictable eighteen-year-old high school girl 'master' whose world begins to shake with a single word spoken in anger. Following the short film 〈Bean Sprout〉's Kim Soo-an and the feature film 〈Our Body〉's Choi Soo-in, another gem discovered by Director Yoon Ga-eun, Seo Soo-bin, plays the role of 'master', drawing attention to what kind of reactions she will evoke. With continuous news of invitations to prestigious international film festivals, Director Yoon Ga-eun's new work 〈The World of Love〉 is expected to be available in theaters nationwide on October 22.
