‘Just Makeup’ MC Lee Hyori and Judges, Full Lineup of 60 Participants Revealed!

Coupang Play's entertainment show 〈Just Makeup〉 has unveiled the full lineup of MCs, judges, and participants ahead of its premiere on October 3rd at 8 PM. 〈Just Makeup〉 is a massive makeup survival show where makeup artists representing K-beauty fiercely compete with their own unique styles, transcending South Korea to represent K-beauty globally.

The introduction video of confirmed MC Lee Hyori has once again captured attention. Upon learning that Lee Hyori is the MC, participants expressed their admiration, saying, "She is an icon of beauty, an icon of fashion, a diva of a generation," "Even as times change, Lee Hyori remains unchanged," and "I think she should definitely be the MC," welcoming the appearance of the K-beauty icon. Lee Hyori is expected to showcase her presence as a host who deeply understands the passion and individuality of the participants while keenly pointing out makeup highlights and easing the tension on set with her unique charm.

The judging panel consists of four makeup experts leading K-beauty trends. Jung Saem Mool, the founder of transparent makeup, is expected to be impressed by the overwhelming scale of top artists gathered in one place, approaching the judging with a sharp gaze. Seo Ok, a master of K-POP makeup, heightened the tension by stating, "I will only judge based on skill," while beauty creator Lee Sa-bae, known for her 'thousand faces', expressed her joy, saying, "I am so happy to be able to showcase such work." Additionally, brand makeup master Lee Jin-soo is expected to evaluate from various perspectives based on product planning and field experience, raising the tension for the fierce judging competition among the four judges with different viewpoints and standards.

The lineup of 60 participants challenging the 〈Just Makeup〉 survival has also been revealed. In the video, the participants' nicknames are engraved one by one on the brushes, raising expectations. The first dedicated makeup artist for celebrities, '37-Year-Old Genie', the first male senior artist in Asia for a global brand, 'Mactist', the 'New York Master' of the four major fashion weeks, and 'Short Form King', a creator with 2.3 million giant puffs, are among the 60 artists representing various fields, promising a massive makeup competition.
