
Kenshi Yonezu has broken his own record.
Singer Kenshi Yonezu (米津玄師) recently released the theme song 'IRIS OUT' for 〈Chainsaw Man: The Movie - Lege〉 on September 15. He participated in the TV anime 〈Chainsaw Man〉 with the theme song 'KICK BACK', and this connection continued to the movie.
According to the Oricon chart, Kenshi Yonezu's 'IRIS OUT' reached 4.13 million streams, ranking first in the Oricon Daily Streaming Ranking. This record surpasses the 3.68 million streams set by 'KICK BACK', breaking the all-time record for solo artists that Kenshi Yonezu had previously set.
〈Chainsaw Man: The Movie - Lege〉 is based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto, depicting the story of Devil Hunter Denji meeting a girl named Lege.
