A physical war where 8 Asian countries compete with their flags 〈Physical: Asia〉 is the first national competition of the globally beloved 〈Physical〉 series. Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Turkey, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines, the 8 Asian countries, promise thrilling matches with diverse athletes in various events. If the first season of 〈Physical: 100〉 held fierce physical competitions in the world of the Greek temple Pantheon, 〈Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground〉 received great love with upgraded physical competitions in the vast world of an underground mine. This 〈Physical: Asia〉 will engage in a more immersive physical competition with a massive quest that encompasses the diverse history and culture of Asia, centered around the host country, Korea. Building anticipation with a grand quest that embodies Korean and Asian culture, 〈Physical: Asia〉 will meet global viewers exclusively on Netflix this October.

The first look video released on the 26th overwhelms the eyes with the fiery physical duels of 48 athletes from 8 Asian countries and a massive quest that embodies Korean and Asian culture. From the intense scene of a defense captain guarding a palace and a judge wearing a hat inspired by a terrifying grim reaper standing in the shadow of the moon illuminating the pitch-black darkness, it is striking. The majestic game begins grandly with Haetae, the guardian deity, and the colorful Seonnangdang, along with traditional large drums, showcasing the grandeur unique to the 〈Physical〉 series. Additionally, the fierce physical clashes of each country, set against the backdrop of 'the place where the sun rises,' one of the origins of Asia, and quests that seem to involve enduring enormous stone blocks or pulling heavy boulders, promise an overwhelming scale. The athletes' voices saying, "It's getting crazier. People," and "This game is pure hell" hint at the intense games of the physical war with flags. Above all, the addition of grand music made with traditional Korean instruments elevates the dopamine of the physical competition.

Producer Jang Ho-ki stated, “Our goal was to harmoniously incorporate the diverse cultures and histories of Korea and Asia,” adding, “In particular, we decided to make the main space theme of this season Gyeongbokgung's Geunjeongjeon. Since Geunjeongjeon was where foreign envoys were welcomed during the Joseon Dynasty, I thought it would be meaningful to invite foreign representatives to showcase physical competition.” Producer Jang also mentioned, “Behind the throne in Geunjeongjeon, there is a painting called ‘Ilwolobongdo’ depicting the sun and moon, which conveys the authority and power of the king,” explaining, “In several quests of this season, we symbolically placed a giant sun and moon, which signifies searching for a new king of the 〈Physical〉 series.” He also added, “I wanted to widely promote traditional Korean instruments and music, so I incorporated them everywhere,” revealing that the national-level Samulnori group ‘Nudat’ participated, raising expectations further.

〈Physical: Asia〉 challenges the limits of humanity through massive quests with 6 representative athletes from each of the 8 Asian countries. The fun of observing the diverse tactics, strategies, and teamwork of each country, along with the unyielding national competition of hexagonal physiques, is expected to provide catharsis. From the boxing legend Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines, who achieved an 8-division championship, to former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker of Australia, and Japanese martial arts legend Yoshihiro Akiyama, they will all participate. Additionally, the first Korean UFC fighter ‘Stun Gun’ Kim Dong-hyun, former skeleton national team gold medalist Yoon Sung-bin, the unstoppable champion of the wrestling world Kim Min-jae, 〈Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground〉 winner Amoti, former wrestling national representative and 〈Physical: 100 Season 1〉 who showcased powerful physique and leadership Jang Eun-sil, and the unique title holder of CrossFit Asia Choi Seung-yeon will all carry the Taegeukgi in their hearts. It is also interesting that various national representatives who have dominated the world in various sports, as well as traditional sports athletes from Korean wrestling to Mongolian wrestling, Turkish oil wrestling, and Thai Muay Thai, will engage in physical face-offs.
