The PGK 2026 Content Creative Talent Partnership Program Business Day wrapped up to a strong turnout.
The PGK 2026 Content Creative Talent Partnership Program Business Day (hereafter, the 2026 PGK Business Day), organized by the Producers Guild of Korea (PGK), was held on November 5 at the Small and Medium Business DMC Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event brought together past and newly graduated participants in the Content Creative Talent Partnership Program, run by the Korea Creative Content Agency and PGK, with industry professionals. The program provides professional mentoring and project-based creative support to discover and develop outstanding creators who will lead the future of Korea’s content industry.
The event featured two parts: project pitches followed by business meetings. During the pitches, eight program alumni introduced projects they are currently developing. After their presentations, they joined the business meetings, where the eight alumni and 15 emerging writers participating this year met one-on-one with industry professionals. Having completed their projects after roughly six months of mentoring, the writers held up to eight 20-minute meetings with industry professionals to gauge the potential of their work.
The 2026 PGK Business Day concluded with a business networking session, giving attendees a chance to continue conversations that had begun during the meetings. The Content Creative Talent Partnership Program, which fosters meaningful collaboration between emerging creators, promising content projects and professionals in the film and video content industry, plans to continue discovering new content and developing creators through follow-up projects. A behind-the-scenes look at the 2026 PGK Business Day and interviews with some of the participating writers and mentors will be available later through Cineplay.
