Asterasys Selects Actor Hyun Bin as the Model for HIFU 'CoolSonic'

Asterasys, a company specializing in aesthetic medical devices, announced on the 1st that it has selected actor Hyun Bin as the model for its next-generation HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) device 'CoolSonic'.

According to the company, Asterasys aims to enhance the premium image of CoolSonic by welcoming actor Hyun Bin as its model and to expand brand recognition on a global stage beyond the domestic market. Based on the proven product competitiveness in both domestic and overseas markets, the company plans to implement various marketing strategies by combining Hyun Bin's broad public recognition and trust. The company expects that collaboration with actor Hyun Bin, who has high recognition throughout Asia, will further strengthen brand power.

CoolSonic has already received medical device certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), ensuring both safety and efficacy, and has differentiated itself from existing competitive HIFU devices by significantly enhancing treatment satisfaction through its proprietary cooling technology (ACCTM).
