Pop star Taylor Swift has achieved overwhelming success on the U.S. Billboard main single chart 'Hot 100', putting an end to the long-standing dominance of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'.

According to the latest Billboard chart released on the 14th (local time), Swift has swept the single chart from 1st to 12th place with tracks from her 12th studio album 'The Life of a Showgirl'. This marks the third time Swift has dominated the Billboard single chart 'Top 10', making her the only artist to achieve such a feat.

The number one spot is held by 'The Fate of Ophelia', while 'Opalite' and 'Elizabeth Taylor' took second and third place, respectively. The Netflix animated film 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 original soundtrack (OST) 'Golden', which maintained the top spot for 7 consecutive weeks until last week, has dropped to 13th place.

Swift's new album has also debuted at number one on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200'. This is the seventh time Swift has debuted at number one on both the single and album charts simultaneously, which is the highest record among all artists.

In particular, 'The Life of a Showgirl' recorded sales of 3,479,500 copies in its first week, breaking the previous record held by Adele. This is the highest figure since Billboard began electronically tracking album sales data in 1991.

Billboard explained that this record-breaking sales figure is a result of releasing 38 different album versions, of which 27 are physical albums and 11 are digital download albums.

Meanwhile, despite Swift's overwhelming success, the 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 OST has shown remarkable resilience. A total of 8 songs, including 'Golden', have simultaneously entered this week's 'Hot 100', proving their continued popularity.

'Soda Pop' ranked 19th, 'Your Idol' ranked 21st, 'How It's Done' ranked 28th, 'What It Sounds Like' ranked 36th, and 'Takedown' ranked 40th. Following that, 'Free' ranked 41st, and the song 'Takedown' sung by group TWICE's Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung remained at 71st.
