
In November, the movie 〈Wicked: For Good〉 will once again invite audiences around the world into a magical ecstasy, revealing a video titled ‘The Perfect Chemistry of Pink and Green, Returning After a Year’ that showcases the special affection of Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and director Jon M. Chu.

The movie 〈Wicked: For Good〉 tells the story of the wicked witch ‘Elphaba’, who is no longer afraid of people's gaze, and the good witch ‘Glinda’, who fears losing people's love, as they seek true friendship amidst their intertwined fates.

The newly released video features Cynthia Erivo as the wicked witch ‘Elphaba’, Ariana Grande as the good witch ‘Glinda’, and director Jon M. Chu sharing their thoughts about the work, revealing their deep affection. The three discussed the changed world of Oz after the dramatically concluded Part 1 and the journeys of the two witches who made different choices, sparking curiosity among fans worldwide. Director Jon M. Chu first stated, “In this installment, we will meet a completely different Oz as time has passed,” raising expectations for the new chapter of 〈Wicked: For Good〉. Ariana Grande then added, “We will learn what results our choices have brought,” adding curiosity about the inner lives and relationships of the changed characters. Cynthia Erivo remarked, “Their choices made ‘Glinda’ the good witch, and ‘Elphaba’ will lead a lonelier life than before,” referring to the different worlds and emotions that ‘Elphaba’, who leaves alone, and ‘Glinda’, who is loved by everyone, will face.

Director Jon M. Chu also revealed, “The friendship between the two will be tested due to different perspectives on the world,” hinting at a deeper narrative of their relationship. It raises curiosity about what changes ‘Elphaba’ and ‘Glinda’ will face in 〈Wicked: For Good〉 and what trials they will encounter, as well as how their friendship will continue.
