
Netflix's new series 〈Kin and Sin〉 has caught attention with its glamorous casting.
On October 21, Netflix announced that it is producing the original content 〈Kin and Sin〉 and revealed the cast. According to reports, 〈Kin and Sin〉 will feature Han Seok-kyu, Yoon Kye-sang, Choo Ja-hyun, Yoo Jae-myung, Kim Jong-soo, and Go Doo-shim. The title 〈Kin and Sin〉 is a Jeju dialect term referring to relatives who perform ancestral rites together, encapsulating the process of intertwined characters fighting fiercely for their interests.
〈Kin and Sin〉 features three families. The Bu family, who manipulate Jeju through pig farming and horse racing; the Yang family, who expand their power through real estate development; and the Go family, who once thrived in the casino business. Han Seok-kyu, Yoon Kye-sang, and Choo Ja-hyun will appear as members of the Bu family, while Yoo Jae-myung will play Yang Kwang-ik of the Yang family, and Kim Jong-soo will portray Go Dae-soo of the Go family. Go Doo-shim, originally from Jeju, will appear in the drama as a character named 'Dae-pan Halmae.'
〈Kin and Sin〉 is directed by Choi Jung-yeol, who recently directed the drama 〈Vigilante〉.
