Let's Go Sing Along! Netflix 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' Special Screening in Theaters

Netflix original animation 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 will have a special screening in domestic theaters.

CGV announced on the 22nd that it will screen 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 in a sing-along version for three days from the 31st to the 2nd of next month. Audiences can sing along to the popular original soundtracks (OST) of the work, such as 'Golden' and 'Your Idol', while watching the movie on the theater's large screen.

This screening will also feature a 'Fandom Battle Screening' where fans of the competing idol groups in the movie, 'HuntRix' and 'Saja Boys', will divide into teams to cheer for each group.

〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 tells the story of the K-Pop idol group HuntRix defeating evil spirits to save the world. According to Netflix, this work has recorded the highest cumulative viewership among all movies and shows released on Netflix to date.

Additionally, the theme song and OST album achieved the remarkable feat of reaching number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart and the Billboard 200 album chart.

The special sing-along version of 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 was first held at the 30th Busan International Film Festival and sold out all seats, proving the high interest from audiences. This special screening is set to take place in over 100 theaters nationwide, including CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall.
