
〈The Murky Stream〉 has revealed special behind-the-scenes footage of the three senior actors.
The Disney Plus original drama 〈The Murky Stream〉 is an action drama about the fates of those who dreamed different dreams to live like humans in a chaotic world surrounding the Gyeonggang, where all the money and resources of Joseon gather. It began airing on September 26 and concluded on October 17. In particular, 〈The Murky Stream〉 shines with the ensemble of young actors and seasoned veteran actors, with Park Ji-hwan, Jeon Bae-soo, and Choi Gwi-hwa playing their unique scene-stealer roles effectively.
On October 23, 〈The Murky Stream〉 shared behind-the-scenes cuts and interviews of the three actors. Park Ji-hwan, who played the role of Walpae Muduk, captivated viewers with his chemistry with Si-yul (Rowoon). He mentioned, "We acted as if we were enjoying a fun game while talking a lot during filming together," and received high praise from director Choo Chang-min, who said, "What would have happened if Ji-hwan wasn't there? It would have been a terrible situation."
Choi Gwi-hwa, who played the role of the corrupt official Lee Dol-gae, showcased great chemistry with rookie official Jeong Cheon (Park Seo-ham). As Park Seo-ham said, "He really treated me like a brother, checking in on me even over the phone," the two raised the tension of 〈The Murky Stream〉 with their perfect synergy. Jeon Bae-soo appeared as Kang Haeng-soo, assisting the upper official Choi Jeong-yeop (Yoo Seong-joo). His role of strongly supporting Choi Eun (Shin Ye-eun) created a perfect synergy that filled the drama with energy.
