
The Japanese animated film 〈Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc〉 is celebrating its one-month release while maintaining the top spot at the domestic box office, showing stable box office performance.
According to data released by the integrated ticketing system on the 24th, this film attracted over 24,000 viewers the previous day, achieving a revenue share of 22.3% to secure the number one position at the box office. Since its release on the 24th of last month, the cumulative audience has reached approximately 2.33 million.
In second place at the box office is the Japanese thriller film 〈The Exit 8〉, which premiered on the 22nd. This film was viewed by over 16,000 people, recording a revenue share of 14.8%. The story revolves around a protagonist trapped in a time loop who must complete an escape mission in a maze-like subway corridor, based on a game of the same name.
Third place is taken by the comic action film 〈Boss〉, starring Jo Woo-jin, Jung Kyung-ho, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Park Ji-hwan. This film attracted over 14,000 viewers, achieving a revenue share of 11.7%. Park Chan-wook's 〈NO OTHER CHOICE〉 was viewed by over 9,000 people, reaching a revenue share of 8.3% to take fourth place.
The strong performance of 〈Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc〉 continues in the reservation status as well. As of 9 AM on the 24th, over 77,000 people have made reservations, recording a reservation rate of 24.9% to take first place.
Second place in reservations is held by the comedy film 〈The First Ride〉, which is set to be released on the 29th. Starring Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa, this film has over 57,000 completed reservations.
