
Amorepacific's scalp and hair loss care brand RYO has selected actress Lee Min-jung as its new model.
RYO has focused on Lee Min-jung's secret to her consistently youthful appearance, highlighting her rich and voluminous hair. With her unique casual yet elegant image, she will spread the message of 'Real root volume starting from a strong scalp.' Lee Min-jung has shown a special affection for Rootgen, introducing 'RYO Rootgen Scalp Essence' on her YouTube channel, which led to a surge of consumer interest in the brand.
RYO launched the 'Rootgen (ROOT:GEN)' line to address women's hair loss concerns, represented by diminishing volume, widening parting, and receding hairlines in 2023. Since its launch, it has recorded triple-digit growth annually, and in August, it ranked first in the entire Olive Young online mall, establishing itself as the leading line for women's hair loss symptom care across major online channels.
Following the flagship product, RYO Rootgen Scalp Essence, RYO has introduced the 'RYO Rootgen Triple Shot Repair Serum' this month for sensitive and damaged scalp care. In December, they plan to expand their product lineup with 'RYO Rootgen Root Volumizer,' a styling product that is gentle on the scalp.
