The 15th Seoul International Pride Film Festival is set to open on Thursday, November 6. The first LGBTQ dance crew in Korea, ‘Coming Out’, will perform at the opening ceremony. The Coming Out crew is the first team in the Korean dance scene to clearly embody LGBTQ identity and performance, focusing on ‘Waacking’ and ‘Voguing’, and has been active in street dance and various cultural stages. The members include Wakun, Kinky, Maepsi, Kiki, Jamie, Easy, and Willy, totaling 7 members.

In particular, member ‘Kinky’ has gained attention for appearances on Mnet’s 〈Street Man Fighter〉, and has boldly raised his voice for LGBTQ rights both inside and outside the dance community. Representative member ‘Jamie’ is a key figure driving the visual and performance aspects of the Coming Out crew, collaborating with ‘House of Rubutain’. At this opening ceremony stage, the Coming Out crew plans to convey a message of freedom and pride through their unique energy and expression, going beyond a simple performance. The powerful stage of the ‘Coming Out’ crew, which is set to make this year’s opening ceremony more glamorous, can be witnessed on November 6 (Thursday) at 7 PM.
