□ Jointly planned with local Brazilian institutions

This 'Film and Space' program is a collaborative effort between the Korean Film Archive and local Brazilian cinematheques. The Cinemateca Brasileira in São Paulo and the Cinemateca Capitolio in southern Brazil participated in the international exchange screenings. In Brazil, a program showcasing classic Korean films was presented, while in Korea, the films for this exhibition 'Film and Space: Brazil' were jointly planned. Roberto Soares, a programmer from Cinemateca Brasileira, handled the 'Cinema Novo' section, while Leonardo Bomfim from Capitolio managed 'Cinema Marginal and Beyond'. Both programmers produced introduction videos for the films and sections, which will be shown in theaters before the screenings. This will present a more professional and high-quality retrospective of Brazilian cinema. Detailed screening schedules can be found on the Korean Film Archive website. Admission is free.
