The Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Festival Organizing Committee will hold the 「20th Busan Fireworks Festival」 at Gwangalli Beach on November 15. This year's festival is prepared with the most three-dimensional and dynamic production to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and in the first part of the main event, a special fireworks show will unfold with the music of the world-renowned artist G-DRAGON's 'Übermensch'.
In particular, utilizing 'Polarizing Filter' technology, a new fireworks festival experience will be offered through hologram glass co-developed by the AI entertainment tech company 'Galaxy Corporation' and Busan's representative IP & tech startup 'Slash B Slash'. Additionally, a digitally created virtual fireworks show produced by AI will be broadcast on a large media wall, providing various entertainment options for the audience.
This year's Busan Fireworks Festival will expand from the existing two parts to three parts. The event will proceed in the order of the 20th Anniversary Celebration Fireworks Show in Part 1, the International Invitation Fireworks Show in Part 2, and the Busan Multi Fireworks Show in Part 3, with approximately 80,000 to 90,000 fireworks illuminating the night sky of Busan.
The main stage for the fireworks festival is Gwangalli Beach. The barges at Igidae and Dongbaek Island will increase from one to two, allowing for even more spectacular fireworks to be enjoyed from locations such as Haeundae Marine City and Nam-gu Yongho Star Light Park. For the convenience of the audience, a total of 14,000 paid seats will be available, divided into R seats with tables and chairs and S seats with only chairs. The seats will be set up on the beach in front of Hotel Aqua Palace and Homers Hotel, facing the Gwangandaegyo Bridge. Paid seat tickets can be purchased from Yes24 Tickets, and the early bird tickets sold out in one minute during the event held in August, proving explosive interest.
